Pioneers Class - Year 5

Welcome to Pioneers Class

We are the Year Five Class at North Bradley CE Primary School. We have 33 children in our class.

Our BIG question for this term is: 'What are the key features of a volcano?

During this geography topic, we will be exploring the structure of the earth, different types of volcanoes, what happens during a volcanic eruption before turning our attention to recent volcanic eruptions. We will also be working in groups to research some of the World's most deadly volcanoes to present to our parents and carers during our showcase at the end of this term.

During our R.E. and Worldview sessions, the children will be exploring the Hindu belief in different pathways to Moksha.

Our whole class text this term is Brightstorm: A sky ship adventure by Vashti Hardy.
