Hello and a warm welcome to North Bradley School and our school community. We are delighted that you and your child are embarking on your education journey with us. This coming September Miss Bishop (myself) will be your class teacher and Mrs Hill will be our teaching assistant. We are very much looking forward to meeting you all, but for the time being we have created this webpage to give you an overview of information, some weekly challenges, stories read by myself and an insight into the Early Years curriculum.

Best Wishes Miss Bishop smiley

The Early Years Curriculum Guidance

This Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum guidance details objectives and milestones for different age points throughout children's development. It consists on 7 areas of learning.
•Prime Areas
•Communication and Language
•Personal, Social and Emotional Development
•Physical Development
•Specific Areas
•Literacy
•Mathematics
•Understanding the World
•Expressive Arts and Design

As well as these prime and specific areas children are also supported to develop Characteristics of Effective Learning. These determine what kind of learner your child will become.

Do they enjoy what they set out to do?

Are they willing to have a go?

Do they find new ways to do things?

Can they be involved and concentrate?

Do they have their own ideas?

Can they choose ways to do things?
