• Down on the Farm with Oak Class

  Oak Class thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Roves Farm near Swindon, we met lots of different animals including, cows, sheep, pigs, horses, goats and many more. The children were thrilled not only to touch and stroke the animals but to also, bottle feed baby goats, watch new lambs being born, feed VERY large cows and have a tractor ride around the farmyard! • What a fantastic week in Cherry Class!

  We've had an amazing time in Cherry Class this week. We kicked off the week with a visit from Kev Sutherland who taught us how to do brilliant comic strip artwork. We came up with some very adventurous titles! On Tuesday we went on a school trip to explore Stonehenge. We enjoyed examining the different artefacts in the exhibition and we carried out our own Bronze Age burial on top of a barrow before making our way around the stones. We've even had a go at building our very own Stonehenge with biscuits! I think we're all looking forward to a restful weekend!
